Bryan Chesoli is the Co-founder and the current CEO of the initiative was selected as Queen's Young Leaders Runners up kenya for the year 2016. He is a graduate from the University of Nairobi having done a Bachelor of Arts and majored in Geography, Environmental Studies and Sociology. Bryan prides himself as a young professional who is charismatic and passionate about all matters concerning youth empowerment. He has been involved in World Youth Alliance Intern program, is a Scholar at Watson Institute in the Philippines and he looks forward to attending more international youth focused events, trainings and forums.
Claude Musau is the Co-Founder and CMO of the Initiative. He is also a graduate of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology with a bachelor in Commerce. He has specialized in Marketing and is the brains behind the initiative’s Marketing campaigns. His was privileged to intern at Kenya Bureau of Standards as a marketer and most recently works at Chase Bank as a teller. Claude is passionate about motivational speaking and entrepreneurship and he wishes to see a youthful generation empowered by successful business owners and inspired to be entrepreneurial.
Patriciah Ndungu is the Co-founder and CFO of the initiative. She has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Nairobi and is also a CPA graduate from Strathmore University. She worked as an intern at GrowthAfrica as an Assistant Consultant in 2012. Patriciah is passionate about social impact. She notes that there are many problems unique to our continent and youth empowerment is one way to curb the issues. One of her goals is to establish several projects to enable vulnerable communities to be self sufficient through promotion of education, good health and proper sanitation.
Ashley Mugo is the Head of Communications of the initiative and a Law student at the Jomo Kenyatta University. She is the Founder and Director of Gestetner Automation systems. She is also a former intern at Maina Mukoma and company advocates and Nyiha Mukoma and company advocates. Ashley has a keen passion for business development, investment, social change and a passion to empower the youth and promote awareness diversely as she can. One of her key ambitions is to make a change and give a voice to the Youth, both adults and children and give them a platform where they can speak out for their rights and use the opportunities available for them.
Joshua is the COO of the initiative and a Law student at the Jomo Kenyatta University. He is at the forefront in Human rights advocacy having been the School's representative to Students' Consortium for Human Rights Advocacy (SCOHRA) as supported by Amnesty International. He is also the Founding President to the Jomo Kenyatta University Law Students Association (JKULSA) and a former Intern at the Kenya Copyrights Board and at the World Bank Group. Joshua has keen interests in Impact Investments in Emerging Markets.
Kerigo Odada is lawyer who prides herself as a passionate pan Africanist and environmentalist. She is a champion for the protection and promotion of Human Rights with a special focus on the youth and women. As a youth advocate, she is keen on ensuring that young people are not left out in key process that affect their lives and that they are given the space to contribute to the overall global development agenda. She has both regional and local experience in matters related to advocacy, policy development and human rights. In her life she is guided by the following words…. I am what I am because of who we all are… Ubuntu.
Ian Nato is the CO-founder and CTO of the initiative. He is a graduate from St. Paul’s University holding a Bachelor in Business and Information Technology. Ian is a sociable young professional with extensive knowledge in the Information Communication and Technology sector. His passion for technology has seen him intern at Huawei Technologies as well as work for Valleypoint Telecoms Ltd. This opportunities have allowed him to take part in projects geared towards improving information communication technology systems within Nairobi and Meru. Ian envisions a country where technology improves the livelihood of the youthful generation.
